Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship at Dalumi
Diamonds are extraordinary creations of nature, formed from pure carbon deep beneath the Earth's surface over billions of years. As the hardest natural substance, they symbolize strength, beauty, and resilience. At Dalumi, we recognize our responsibility to safeguard the environment that produces these remarkable gems. Our unwavering commitment to sustainability ensures that our diamonds are sourced with care and respect for the planet, reflecting our deeply held values.

Since 1993, Dalumi has been honored to hold the status of a De Beers sightholder, granting us access to some of the world’s finest diamonds. This privilege comes with a profound responsibility, as we strictly adhere to the De Beers Best Practice Principles (BPP), established in 2005. These principles, serving as both ethical guidelines and binding obligations, ensure our operations consistently meet stringent environmental and social standards, reinforcing our positive impact on the natural world.
Our Environmental Commitment
At Dalumi, sustainability is not just a goal—it’s an integral part of our operations. To uphold our pledge, we conduct an annual evaluation of our environmental impact. This assessment, reviewed by an independent third party, ensures compliance with global environmental standards and addresses critical areas such as:

Commitment Beyond Compliance
In addition to our adherence to De Beers’ BPP, Dalumi is a proud certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC). Through the RJC's 'Responsible Practices Framework,' we extend our sustainability principles across all facets of our operations. This dual commitment not only satisfies the rigorous standards of globally renowned brands but also cements our leadership in fostering sustainable practices in the diamond and jewelry industry.
