Our journey in Botswana began in 2008 with the acquisition of a second De Beers' sight in Gaborone. In that same year, we established a cutting-edge diamond factory in the country.
Since then, the Dalumi Group has become one of Botswana's largest diamond manufacturers, and we stand as a leading employer in the local diamond sector. We offer comprehensive training programs to enhance the capabilities of dozens of local managers and hundreds of workers.

Inspired by the unparalleled quality of Botswana's diamonds, our goal was to showcase their natural beauty like never before. This led us to introduce the Swana cut - a patented, unique diamond cut boasting 89 facets, surpassing the conventional 57. The Swana cut reveals a perfect eight-pointed star at the heart of the diamond, showcasing exceptional brilliance and internal fire.

The Swana cut is exclusively made in Botswana and has garnered global acclaim and recognition. To this day, Swana remains a hallmark of Dalumi, with each diamond bearing the Botswana Stamp - a mark of superior craftsmanship and ethical values endorsed by Botswana’s Diamond Hub.
