3. Sourcing and Procurement

  • Supplier Verification: Only source diamonds from reputable suppliers who provide full disclosure of the diamond's origin and adhere to ethical sourcing standards.

  • Documentation: Require suppliers to provide certificates of origin, Kimberley Process certificates, and any other relevant documentation confirming the diamond's natural status.


4. Laboratory Testing

  • Certified Laboratories: Use only accredited gemological laboratories (e.g., GIA, AGS) for diamond verification.

  • Testing Procedures: Conduct a series of tests including, but not limited to: Microscopic Examination: To check for inclusions and growth patterns typical of natural diamonds. UV Fluorescence: To observe the diamond’s reaction to ultraviolet light.


5. Internal Verification

  • Gemologist Review: Have a certified gemologist to conduct an independent review of the laboratory results.

  • Quality Control: Implement a quality control process where multiple experts review the findings to ensure consistency and accuracy.


6. Certification and Documentation

  • Certification: Provide customers with a detailed certificate of authenticity for each diamond, including the laboratory report and all relevant test results.

Sourcing

Majority of Dalumi Corp’s natural diamonds come from our own mining and manufacturing facility in Botswana. In the rare occasion that we source from 3rd party diamond manufacturers,  we source our diamonds exclusively from suppliers who adhere to ethical sourcing practices and provide comprehensive documentation, including certificates of origin and Kimberley Process certificates.


Laboratory Testing

Each diamond undergoes extensive testing at accredited gemological laboratories. The tests include microscopic examination, and UV fluorescence, all designed to verify the diamond's natural origins.


Internal Verification

Our in-house certified gemologists review all laboratory results independently. Multiple experts are involved in the quality control process to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our verification procedures.
